White Audiences vs. Black Movies

This is an interesting article that covers why white audiences don't view black movies. I think the study could have elaborated and provided stats on whether black audiences typically view white movies. In short, Hollywood should cast more minorities in films and show that it is good to have a diverse cast...hello Fast Five!

I don't think racism plays a part with white audiences; I think audiences want to be comfortable with the movies they see...regardless of the cast. It's 2011 and we should be watching movies...not just "black movies."

New Ventures

I hope that you all are doing well! I've had my hands (yes, hands) extremely busy lately. Between getting new submissions out there, and creating the website I dreamed of, I have been SWAMPED. For now, I'll keep this blog up as it still serves as my online portfolio. Additionally, I've been working with a few venues, so I'll get clips posted up soon.
